At 3:39 PM EST today, a specific IP address at eApps was the target of a significant DDOS attack. Alarms were immediately triggered and both operations and network personnel were working on the situation. Our upstream Internet Service Provider was also informed. While the target was almost immediately identified, it took longer to execute all the steps required to eliminate the issue from impacting our service. All services were restored by 4:06 PM EST.
