eApps uses Disk arrays to serve multiple physical servers. One of the disk array’s had a hard drive failure and automatically failed over to a spare hard drive that was available. Performance on the 6 servers attached to this array is currently degraded due to I/O load while the disk array rebuilds in background. This issue is impacting 187 virtual servers.
